FHP Community Ground Rules

FHP members connect primarily through video meetings (Google Meet) and instant messaging (Google Chat), but may have other interactions through social media or perhaps in person! Please keep these guidelines in mind as you interact with your colleagues. 

 

  • Collaboration & Support

    • Maintain a positive, encouraging demeanor in your interactions with others. 

    • Collaborate with fellow community members for mutual benefit.

    • Offer assistance and support when possible.

    • Celebrate the achievements and successes of community members.

  • Respect & Civility

    • Treat all community members with respect and courtesy.

    • Avoid offensive language, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks.

    • Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for diverse perspectives.

  • Privacy & Confidentiality

    • Please exercise extreme caution when discussing specific patient cases or screen sharing. 

    • Do not share Protected Health Information on Google Chat, nor in recorded Google Meet meetings.

    • Respect the privacy of community members.

    • Do not share personal information without explicit consent.

    • Maintain confidentiality when discussing sensitive topics 

  •  No Spam or Self-Promotion:

    • Refrain from spamming or excessive self-promotion.

    • Share content that adds value to the community.

    • Obtain permission before posting promotional content.

  • Compliance with Laws and Policies:

    • Abide by local, national, and international laws.

    • Follow the community's guidelines, terms of service, or policies.

    • Report any inappropriate or illegal activities to the community moderators.

  • Responsible Use of Resources:

    • Use community resources responsibly and ethically.

    • Do not engage in activities that may harm the community or its members.

    • Report any misuse of community resources promptly.

  • Conflict Resolution:

    • Resolve conflicts through respectful dialogue.

    • Seek mediation or involve community moderators if conflicts escalate.

    • Focus on finding common ground and understanding.

  • Accountability:

    • Take responsibility for your actions and contributions.

    • Acknowledge mistakes and learn from them.

    • Encourage a culture of accountability within the community.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Provide constructive feedback on community processes and rules.

    • Participate in discussions on how to improve the community.

    • Strive for continuous growth and positive development.

  • No Harassment or Bullying:

    • Do not engage in harassment, bullying, or any form of intimidation.

    • Report any instances of harassment to the community moderators.

    • Support a community culture that rejects all forms of abuse.

By participating in this community, you agree to abide by these ground rules. The community moderators reserve the right to take appropriate actions, including warnings, suspensions, or bans, for violations of these rules.
